Beginning August 19 to September 16, provide your input on proposed Phase 2 improvements.
Phase 1 was completed in fall 2023 with the installation of tall curbs at strategic locations along the corridor. Your input will help inform Phase 2 improvements in 2024.
This section of Baseline Road is one of the most-traveled corridors in the city and is home to many key community destinations and services, including apartments, grocery shops, affordable housing, health centers, shops and student housing for the University of Colorado Boulder. However, it is also a location with a high number of serious-injury crashes compared to other streets in the city.
This project will enhance safety and connectivity on Baseline Road through a number of improvements including intersection and multimodal facility enhancements.

Thank you for all your feedback so far! We weren't able to implement everything during Phase 1. Tell us about how you experience Baseline Road today and inform the next phase of design.
Phase 1 was completed in fall 2023 and made strategic improvements from 29th Street to Foothills Parkway. Improvements included the following:
Narrowed and restriped travel lanes to slow vehicle speeds,
Green bike lane markings at intersections to clearly delineate vehicle and bicycle spaces,
Flexible delineator posts and striped buffers to separate the bike lane from the vehicle lane,
Concrete tall curbs in strategic areas to provide physical protection that improves comfort and safety,
Protected intersection improvements to slow vehicle turning speeds, improve visibility of people walking and bicycling, and shorten crossing distances,
