The first round of community engagement from December 2024 to early January 2025 provided staff with a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities on this corridor. From Jan. 29 to Feb. 19, we need your feedback on various safety improvements to develop conceptual alternatives and finalize evaluation criteria, which we will present to the community this spring.
This Folsom Street project between Pine Street and Colorado Avenue is part of the city's Core Arterial Network (CAN), a City Council priority to make the Boulder’s busiest streets safer and more comfortable and connected. The project supports the city’s Vision Zero goal to eliminate serious injury and fatal crashes and advances the city's Transportation Master Plan (TMP), Vision Zero Action Plan (VZAP) and Low-Stress Walk and Bike Network Plan which identified transportation improvements for the project area based on data and prior community feedback.
