Bill's Story - Walking for Heart Health
[Story collected at Neighborhood Office Hours, South Boulder.]
“I had heart surgery, so I walk every day to keep my heart healthy. Frequently, I walk at night, too, because I’ll look at my pedometer at the end of the day and see I still have a couple thousand steps to get in, so I’ll go out and meet my goal. I have a suggestion: it would be helpful to have more paths were bikes and pedestrians are separated. I’m hard of hearing and my balance isn’t as good as it used to be, so I often can’t hear bicyclists coming up behind me.”
